The ADE conference track focused on the harder segments is back on the 19th of October to shine a light on the dynamics of a growing industry.
Following up on recent announcements about Tiga’s and Soulwax’s combined MusicTalk and themes and topics at ADE Green we shift our attention to the Hard Dance Event (HDE). 2016 saw a succesful move to the Tolhuistuin and the conference returns to the north side venue, with new partners and themes on the line-up.
25 Years of Hardcore
In order to spark as many minds as possible, a well-curated HDE program of panels touches a diversity of topics. One of them welcomes Thunderdome as a new partner of the Hard Dance Event collective. This legendary brand is celebrated and highlighted in ’25 Years of Hardcore’. Another panel is ‘Junior vs. Senior’. It unites different generations of hardstyle acts to explore in what sense times have changed. Focusing on a main development in the harder spectrum, ‘Freestyle is the Future’ discusses the potential of this genre-bending sound. The rest of the program is just as exciting and will be released at a later stage. Be keen by keeping an eye out for updates.
Hard Dance Event represents the harder segment of ADE. It’s the very place where professionals from all layers of the industry gather for an exchange of thoughts and visions on themes that the scene is involved with. An essential aim of the conference is to inspire, reaching out to all who have an affinity with and interest in the harder styles.
It has become evident that the harder styles of electronic dance music are a force to be reckoned with. Constantly pushing forward, the movement is gaining recognition from all angles. In the context of these curious times, it’s the perfect moment to look at where we came from, discuss where we find ourselves today and, most relevant of all, determine what type of future we’re heading towards.
Hard Dance Event is made possible by a stronghold of supporting partners, consisting of Amsterdam Dance Event, b2s, Bass Events, Buma Cultuur, Platinum Agency, Thunderdome and Q-dance.
